The Cement Manufacturers Association participates in a workshop hosted by the Italian company MAPEI.

At the invitation of the Italian company MAPEI and its general agent in Iraq, LYZAN Company, Engineer Ammar Rahim Abdullah Al-Saadi, Chairman of the Cement Manufacturers Association in Iraq, participated in the workshop held by the company in Sulaymaniyah Governorate on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, in the presence of companies (KAR, Lafarge, MAS, Farouk Holding, Delta, and Global). The workshop included lectures on grinding additives and mill audit.Emission reduction measures in cement plants and environmentally friendly products such as limestone cement, pozolanic cement, and calcined clay cement were also discussed. Lectures were also given on vertical and horizontal mills. MAPEI is one of the largest global companies producing and distributing grinding aids for cement and concrete and supplies many cement factories in Iraq. The association's president also gave a lecture on the association's and its companies' measures to reduce the use of clinker in cement.
